PENDULUM FLAPS

Pendulum flaps, or double dump valves, are used for the continuous dosing, blocking, and discharging of bulk materials. The flexible structure of the flaps enables reliable channeling and separation of free-flowing bulk materials out of and into pressure-difference chambers (e.g., filter systems). Double dump valves are actuated pneumatically, electrically, or mechanically. The welded design makes the valves lighter than cast iron and less expensive.
